exceet Secure Solutions earns Quality Seal "IT Security Made in Germany 2015"
TeleTrusT - Federal Association for IT Security again awards prestigious quality seal to IT security specialist
By once again earning the seal, exceet is able to continue offering its customers approved, highly reliable products and services that fulfill the requirements and standards of TeleTrusT - Federal Asscociation for IT Security e.V.
One of the most important criteria for the award of the quality seal is fulfillment of all requirements of German data protection law. The products and services of exceet Secure Solutions fully satisfy these and all further requirements stipulated by TeleTrusT. For this reason, exceet was again awarded the prestigious seal in 2015.
Clients and partners of exceet Secure Solutions in exceet's M2M (machine-to-machine) and eHealth business fields profit from the well-established, internationally recognized quality standard: The seal signifies greater investment security, not least because exceet Secure Solution develops its products and services in Germany. The "IT Security Made in Germany" quality seal is only awarded to enterprises which, among other criteria, fully satisfy the strict national requirements and offer their clients services exclusively developed and manufactured in Germany.
Customers of exceet Secure Solutions who rely on our IT security consulting services can leverage the quality seal to their competitive benefit, particularly in the sphere of data security. Data protection plays a decisive role in realizing M2M projects, e.g. with regard to the IT Security Act adopted by the Federal Government in December of 2014. The Act will confront almost all data protection officers in almost all enterprises with statutory data security requirements.
Particularly businesses which rely on exceet Secure Solutions to implement global M2M projects can leverage the quality seal, both internally and in relation to customers and users, by guaranteeing that rigorous German data protection standards have been applied in creating our components. Among other benefits, this offers them greater customer-side acceptance and thus shorter go-to-market times than other providers.
In addition to maximum quality standards, exceet Secure Solutions also offer its customers the advantage of an M2M expertise that transcends pure machine connectivity. exceet possesses all-round expertise in ecosystem networking, e.g. for consortia or for cross-sector M2M connectivity. The enterprise is able to deliver everything from the initial concept to the implementation of the IT security requirements - naturally, in full compliance with the quality seal "IT Security Made in Germany".
IT Security Made in Germany (ITSMIG) was established in 2005 on the initiative of the Federal Ministry of the Interior (BMI), the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi) as well as representatives of German IT security businesses. It became a registered association in 2008, and both BMI and BMWi assumed patronage of the organization. Following intensive discussions, TeleTrusT and ITSMIG agreed in 2011 that their fields of activity offered opportunities for synergy, and since that time the activities of ITSMIG have thus been conducted under the auspices of TeleTrusT as the independent TeleTrusT Working Group "ITSMIG".
The TeleTrusT Working Group "ITSMIG" is dedicated to joint representation of the interests of the enterprises and institutions participating in the Working Group vis a vis politics, business, the scientific community and the public at the German, European and global level. BMWi and BMI are represented on the Advisory Board of the Working Group
