EVT macht hyperspektrale Daten der molekularen Ebenen über die Bildverarbeitungssoftware EyeVision nutzbar. Die Zusammensetzung sowie die chemischen und physikalischen Eigenschaften verschiedener Substanzen werden analysiert und visualisiert. Es werden präzise Bilder der untersuchten Objekte erstellt, die Informationen über das Material und die Molekülstruktur liefern. Die hyperspektrale Bildverarbeitung kann beispielsweise zur Qualitätssicherung in der Lebensmittelindustrie, der Agrarindustrie, in der Medizin, beim Recycling oder in den Biowissenschaften eingesetzt werden.
