The new EyeVision 3.0 release now supports the EyeCheck 2xxx smart camera series, which are equipped with a Linux operating system. Because the graphical user interface of the EyeVision 3.0 software now also runs on Linux, it is also available for the EyeCheck 2000 series. Additionally, the EyeCheck 2000 cameras are equipped with an USB 2.0 and VGA interface, so that the user can connect mouse and display directly to the camera. Therefore the programming of the smart camera can be carried out directly on the camera. This also means that inspection programs can be created, without using a PC.
With the graphical user interface running on Linux, the EyeCheck cameras are directly programmable with the EyeVision drag-and-drop function.
The compact creation of inspection programs with the EyeCheck 2000 cameras and without any PC needed, the cameras are especially useful for applications, where space is limited.
The new EyeVisioon 3.0 software additionally features a so called Layout Manager. This function allows the user to program not only their own command but also integrate them into the graphical user interface, where it will be displayed with an icon that the user can create.
There is also a new feature, that can display more than one Camera Viewer and the user can drag-and-drop tabs between the Camera Viewers. This makes the work in the configuration mode considerable easier. Therefore the user can trace the course of the inspection program visually.
