EMVA partner of AUTOMATICA 2008

(PresseBox) (Frankfurt am Main, )
The European Machine Vision Association has partnered with AUTOMATICA 2008 - 3rd International Trade Fair for Automation: Assembly, Robotics, Vision which will take place in Munich, Germany, from June 10 - 13, 2008. The EMVA will also present as an exhibitor in Hall A1, Stand 120.

AUTOMATICA is the international trade fair that brings together all areas of robotics and automation under one roof and showcases the complete range of robotics, assembly and handling technology, machine vision and associated technologies. Its focus on innovation and solutions provides excellent synergies for the machine vision industry. As AUTOMATICA is the leading international exhibition for robotics (located in halls B2 and B3), robot vision will be a definite highlight in hall B3, where all new developments will be presented. In hall B2, a second area is dedicated to machine vision, showcasing solutions from all manufacturing industries. More synergies will be leveraged with the assembly and handling technology focus in halls A1 and A2, in which vision technology plays an increasingly important role. A further asset is the leading trade fair for solar technologies, the INTERSOLAR 2008, which takes place in parallel during two of the four exhibition days: The photovoltaics industry has become a major user of image processing to raise the quality and cut production costs of solar cells. More machine vision highlights will be presented at the AUTOMATICA Forum in hall B1.

"The EMVA recognizes the AUTOMATICA not only as a major international trade fair for vision technology but also as a unique communication platform in which concrete applications in the field of robotics and assembly technology can be effectively presented. Next to machine vision technology components, the visitor will find solutions addressed at all major fields of application and industries.", says Gabriele Jansen, President of EMVA and managing director of Jansen C.E.O.
