In the context of the opening of its new Brussels office, the European Energy Exchange presented the "EEX Excellence Award" for outstanding academic achievements for the first time.
The winners are the students Kevin Münch (Institute of Power Systems and Power Economics/IAEW, RWTH Aachen University), Andreas Schaich (Institute of Energy Economics/ EWI, University of Cologne) and Remziye Yilmaz (Institut Européen des Hautes Etudes Internationales/IEHEI, Nice) who focus on technical, economic and social challenges on the energy market in their theses.
