ESMT launches video contest on the future working environment

(PresseBox) (Berlin, )
  • Video contest aimed at teenagers
  • iPad mini for the winning team
  • Application deadline on June 15, 2014
ESMT European School of Management and Technology has launched a video contest on the topic "On the Job 2050: Picture your work in the future." Teenagers aged between 13 and 19 years are eligible to apply, either alone or in teams of up to three people. Participants are required to record their own video and upload to YouTube by June 15, 2014. The English-speaking film should be no longer than two minutes and should show how young people imagine their work and workplace to be in the future. Videos in other languages need to be supplemented with English subtitles.

Each member of the winning team in the competition will receive an iPad mini, while runners-up will be awarded with cinema gift certificates. ESMT will also invite the makers of the winning video to present their film at the ESMT Annual Forum on July 3, 2014, an international conference that provides opinion leaders from business, politics, and academia with a platform for discussion. This year's topic is: "Corporation 2050: Building to last, leading to adapt."

Martha Ihlbrock, Head of Communications and Marketing at ESMT, says: "For us, it is important that we hear on the topic 'The future of work' from those who will still be an active part of the workforce in 2050. The ideas and insights of these young people will enrich the debates surrounding the ESMT Annual Forum. We look forward to receiving many exciting and creative videos!"
