Royalty free Device Management for enterprises
With the release of the new Mobile Suite Version 2.5 eperi provides the Device Management basic module for Smartphones & PDA without charging license fees for the first time.
The eperi – Mobile Suite is the established enterprise solution for company use of Smartphones and Pocket PCs. Due to the central administration, companies obtain full control of their mobile devices and increase the usability simultaneously.
The new version is based on the eperi securityRunTime as safe runtime environment for mobile devices. Remote configuration for Windows Mobile is already integrated in the basis module and may be used royalty free for efficient configuration of all Windows standard programs such as email, Exchange, VPN & Network connections or even WLAN. Automatically programs of Third Party manufacturers are also installed and configured via generic functions. Users receive devices for immediate use.
With the new versions of the modules Mobile Firewall, LBS Automation and Mobile PKI the basis module may be developed into a complete enterprise solution. Automatic OTA-(Over the Air) Roll-Out and integration in existing enterprise structures like LDAP, Active Directory or Trust Center provide customers with seamless integration of mobile devices in business processes.
