Ausschlaggebende Kriterien waren unter anderem die besondere Innovationsfähigkeit sowie die hohe Vertriebsleistung und Flexibilität. Seit Jahren belegt EPCOS bei Oberflächenwellen- Filtern Platz eins im weltweiten Vergleich. LG Mobile Phones gehört zu LG Electronics, einem der weltweit größten Hersteller von Konsum-, Haushalts- und Computerperipherie-Elektronik.

Die EPCOS AG, Hersteller von passiven elektronischen Bauelementen mit Sitz in München, ist Marktführer in Europa und weltweit die Nummer Zwei.
