Surface Mount PLCC Sockets with Low Profile Housing

Edac's range of surface mount PLCC Sockets offer a low profile solution in seven different circuit sizes from 20 thru 84 way and are available in tubes or tape and reel.

The socket insulator is made of polyphenylene sulfide to UL94V-0 giving a temperature range of -55 to +105°C. The phosphor bronze contacts make a contact resistance of maximum 30 milliohms possible while keeping price to a minimum.

A variety of contact plating options are available including gold flash, 15µ, 30µ or 50µ gold or 150 tin over nickel.
