ITW Offers Surface Mount / Solid-State Miniature Pushbutton Switches Designed for Mass Manufacture

(PresseBox) (Tuningen, )
This unique approach to SS/SMT switching allows the customer to process a Hall-effect chip and LED (optional) to their board. Then the ITW Switches Series 39-8 actuator is simply snapped in place. This can be done manually or robotically thus completing a totally process compatible switching system.

The solid-state (Hall-effect) switching means there are no mechanical contacts. They come as momentary or maintained action and lighted (Surface Mount LED) or non-lighted. A large range of key caps are available from the standard range of mechanical switches.

All of this adds up to lower overall installed cost. It goes without saying that the switches are fully RoHS process compatible.
