High-Speed Surface Mount Card Edge Connector

(PresseBox) (Tuningen, )
Edac's new miniature card edge connector for graphics board applications was derived from a customer application and the need to save space.

These miniature connectors have a 0.8mm pitch and are capable of high speeds of up to 480Mbits per second. Made of a high temperature insulator material they are suitable for SMT lead free soldering.

Insertion forces are extremely low, another custormer requirement and an example again of the innovative way in which EDAC is able to meet customers' needs for connector solutions.
