EDAC's Low Cost Female Connector Provides Opportunity for Cost Reductions in Mass Production

(PresseBox) (Tuningen, )
This new female connector in EDAC's 153 Series offers a low cost solution for bulk harness wiring requirements.

Being an upwards compatible second source yet with more stringent tolerances which ensure reproducible latching performance, the connector is particularly suitable for automotive and industrial applications where not only low cost components are required but also high reliability and the ability for inexpensive assembly. For this reason, the crimp contacts of the 153 Series contacts are delivered on reels for automatic machines. As an extra service to customers, EDAC can on-site manufacture complete harnesses made to customers' specification with the potential for considerable reductions in transaction costs.
