Bulgin Buccaneer Connectors used in London Smart Car Test

Mercedes have been running tests with 100 electric Smart 2-seater cars in London since 2007 and chose Bulgin's 900 series as the connector for charging the cars. These connectors are ideal for high current applications requiring IP68 protection and where cost and reliability are serious considerations.
These connectors are increasingly finding applications with 2 to 10 pin variants in marine, industrial, transport, building and other applications where an almost indestructible connector is required. The UL and VDE approved range also includes in-line, panel and flange mounted versions capable of carrying currents of up to 32A at 600V AC/DC.
