ICSA Labs' certification of the Secure Remote Support Gateway involved a comprehensive analysis of the technology against criteria including operability, functionality and vulnerability. The Lab's testing program evaluated security and administrative functionality and rated the overall effectiveness of the Gateway in a variety of scenarios, including Denial of Service (DoS), Trojan attacks and application hijacking. The criteria were based on specific requirements generated through market segment research, security product classification and available features of the category of technology being evaluated.
