Texas Instruments is impressed by the image quality of ELMO’s new mobile DLP® Pico projector

At IFA 2013 in Berlin, ELMO is introducing the first two projectors from the BOXi series

Düsseldorf, (PresseBox) - More than 90 years ago, ELMO produced its first film projector. In 2013, ELMO releases projectors again. This time they are so small and they can fit in almost any briefcase. The models BOXi T-350 and MP-350 are small devices producing big pictures. Just 1m from the screen, they create a 50” image. Texas Instruments, manufacturer of the DLP® chips, is impressed by the image quality of the new product.

BOXi T-350
The BOXi T-350 turns a video night into a great experience. Via HDMI cable (included) you can connect a DVD- or Blu-Ray Player as well as any game consol. The BOXi starts up in only 7 seconds and it also needs only 7 seconds for cooling down.

Texas Instruments had a close look at the BOXi T-350 and they think it is fantastic – especially for gaming:

“Elmo has done an excellent job taking the gaming experience to the next level with their newest T-350 product,” said Frank Moizio, business unit manager of DLP Pico, Texas Instruments. “We are excited to help achieve this big picture display within the confines of a very small space from a truly mobile product creating an ultimate immersive experience for gamers – anywhere, anytime.”

BOXi MP-350
The BOXi MP-350 has the same impressive optics as the T-350 and offers even more interesting features. Thanks to the build in Wi-Fi-function and the free app, you can wirelessly show files via smartphone and tablet. For PC and Mac there is the software “BOXi play”. It allows four Notebooks connecting to the BOXi MP-350 at the same time. Files can also be shown directly from USB-Stick.
