German Elatec GmbH is developing South and East European markets: Over the last few months they were able to close a number of strategic contracts on the delivery of prepaid scratch cards and health insurance cards and acquire important new customers.
Recently, nationally-owned Post and Telecommunications of Kosovo accepted Elatec’s bid for the delivery of 50 million prepaid scratch cards, and the corresponding contracts were signed. This is a follow-up order, which is not least due to the reliable deliveries and the high quality of the cards delivered by Elatec.
In Hungary as well Elatec was able to register an important deal: vodafone of Hungary signed an agreement for the delivery of prepaid scratch cards with security features of the very highest level.
In Greece the Telecom and Banking Division has supplied Athens based Alpha Insurance Company with health insurance cards. The Alpha Insurance group not only offers health insurance, but also life insurance and other types of insurance. It is strongly represented in Greece and the whole Balkans.
Expansion of activities in Germany
Loyalty cards for customer retention programmes have been offered by Elatec GmbH in East European countries for some time now. Recently, the company that is based in Haar near Munich has started offering cards of this type to German customers also. Due to the current development in retailing Elatec sees a great market potential and is in negotiations with a large number of potential customers.
