Haushaltsgeräte werden von deren Herstellern am Ende der Montagelinie ausgiebig auf Sicherheitsaspekte gemäß EN60335-1 geprüft. Nur so kann gewährleistet werden, dass ausschließlich sichere Produkte in den Handel gelangen.

Elabo lieferte kürzlich vier neue Prüfsysteme an einen der bekanntesten deutschen Hersteller für Kühl- und Gefriergeräte aus. Bereits seit Jahrzehnten vertraut dieser auf die Prüftechnik der Crailsheimer Marke Elabo. Die neu konzipierten Systeme ermöglichen eine flexible losgrößenunabhängige Produktion. Die während der Prüfung anfallenden Daten werden zur Archivierung auf einen SQL-Server gespeichert. Ein Prüfnachweis ist somit vom Hersteller jederzeit abrufbar.
