Eissmann Automotive KTSN GmbH welcomes Mayor Klaus-Peter Hanke to its Pirna site

(PresseBox) (Bad Urach, )
On 25 June 2021 Eissmann Automotive KTSN GmbH, represented by Wolfgang Braun, CEO of Eissmann Group Automotive and Mr. Robert Kozielski, Managing Director for the Pirna and Gera sites, were honored to welcome the Mayor of Pirna, Klaus-Peter Hanke to the Pirna site.

Following the acquisition of the insolvent plastics expert Minda KTSN Plastic Solutions GmbH & Co. KG on 01. April 2021 by Eissmann Group Automotive, integration is now well underway.  “Our main priority is a partnership-based way of working, firstly with the employees and secondly with the region and the Pirna site”, explains Robert Kozielski. The proximity to the existing Gera site, which is just under 200 km away, is being utilised to improve efficiency and create synergies.

KTSN is a well-known automotive supplier in the fields of injection molding and kinematics technologies. Its products include gloveboxes, seat back panels, cup holders and other plastic components for the automotive industry. The Pirna company, which filed for insolvency in June 2020, also has sites in Mexico and Poland.

Mayor Hanke was given an exclusive tour of the Production department and subsequently was allowed to unveil the new company sign at the main entrance. Mayor Klaus-Peter Hanke: “I am delighted at this growth in our corporate landscape. Eissmann Automotive Deutschland GmbH is continuing the long-standing tradition of plastics production at the Pirna site. This means that around 300 employees can continue to work in the ‘sandstone town’ of Pirna. I hope things start well for the company and wish them every success!”

This acquisition serves to expand the product lines at Eissmann Group Automotive.  In addition to the lamination products and services, Eissmann can also provide fully integrated kinematics and non-kinematics plastic parts for vehicle interiors. “We want to use these pooled synergies to become a true long-term partner for the Pirna site, and to achieve a closer relationship with our 14 sites worldwide”, says Wolfgang Braun.
