Trockeneis-Pellets sind hart. Hart gefroren bei minus 76 Grad Celsius. Bei der Beschleunigung im Luftstrom auf über 1.000 km/h können beim Aufprall Oberflächen, Steckverbindungen, Leiterplatten, Schalter usw. durch Trockeneis-Pellets „ZERSCHOSSEN“ werden. Nicht so bei der Reinigung nach der KDL-Methode von Egger PowAir Cleaning GmbH. Nur kalte Trocken-Druckluft kommt zum Einsatz. Und nichts wird bei dieser Reinigungsmethode von Industriemaschinen zerstört.

Bei einem führenden Hersteller für Dach- und Wandelemente für Industriegebäude hat Egger PowAir Cleaning die Reinigung der Industriemaschinen vorgenommen. Es konnte bei den sensiblen Industrieanlagen nur berührungslose Reinigung mit der KDL-Methode zum Einsatz kommen. Wie vorher bei vielen hundert Produktionsmaschinen verlief die Reinigung mit kalter Trocken-Druckluft und sonst nichts… ohne jede Beschädigung. Denn wenn keine Berührung erfolgt, kann auch nichts zerstört oder zerschossen werden.
