"In today's competitive environment, print professionals need to expand their offerings while improving their turnaround time, all without sacrificing quality," said John Henze, vice president, Fiery marketing, EFI. "Our new servers' intuitive, yet powerful tools and workflow software will allow Xerox customers to offer superior color imaging and a wider range of services on Xerox Color 560/570 printers."
Industry-leading colour and imaging
At the core of the new server offerings is Fiery FS100 Pro -the only digital graphic arts workflow system to print PDFs perfectly.1 Fiery FS100 Pro easily handles the most challenging print production tasks, ensuring that features such as transparencies, drop shadows and other effects print correctly. This means that users get the expected print results every time without having to create complex workflow processes.
The servers produce 1,200 dots per inch imaging quality for crisp text and images. Fiery Spot-On(TM) spot-colour emulation, automated image enhancement technology and optional software such as the Fiery Graphic Arts Package, Premium Edition, and Fiery Color Profiler Suite add advanced colour management capability to produce stunning brochures, posters, presentations, photos and more.
Advanced integration for higher productivity
In addition to outstanding colour quality, the Fiery EX and EXi print servers also give Xerox customers the ability to create end-to-end production workflows by seamlessly integrating with EFI's market-leading MIS/ERP software, eCommerce/web to print products and scheduling tools. Integrating production workflow systems allows customers to optimise their print load and track both expenses and profits.
The Fiery servers support Xerox' Standard Accounting and FreeFlow WorkFlow suite products as well as the Xerox Extensible Interface Program for third-party developed applications. Plus, the servers offer integration with cost accounting solutions for complete job tracking. EFI also supplies built-in Wi-Fi printing for Apple iOS devices as well as EFI PrintMe for cloud printing.
Office users can easily create professional-looking training manuals, sales proposals, booklets, labels, and newsletters from their desktop using Fiery VUE, a 3-D visual print application. Built-in tools like Fiery FreeForm(TM) variable-data formatting and advanced variable-data print stream processing allow companies to create personalised communications in-house and give print providers the ability to offer new, value-added services to their customers.
The new Xerox EX and EXi print servers, powered by Fiery, for Xerox Color 560/570 printers are available now from Xerox.
