Verstärkung in Italien

Die ebm-papst Gruppe mit Hauptsitz in Mulfingen (Baden-Württemberg) erwirbt rückwirkend zum 01.01.2017 die Firma Lae S.r.l., Spezialist für Schutzgitter für Ventilatoren. Mit der Akquisition erhöht der Weltmarktführer von Ventilatoren und Motoren die Fertigungstiefe sicherheitsrelevanter Komponenten, die u.a. bei Luft-, Kälte- und Klimatechnikanwendungen eingesetzt werden.

Stefan Brandl, Vorsitzender der Gruppengeschäftsführung: „Mit der Übernahme unseres langjährigen Lieferanten stärken wir unseren internationalen Produktionsverbund hinsichtlich Flexibilität und Effizienz. Zudem erhöhen wir den Wissenstransfer im Bereich Konstruktion und Materialforschung.“

Das in Caravate (nahe Mailand) angesiedelte Unternehmen beschäftigt rund 100 Mitarbeiter bei einem Jahresumsatz von knapp 10 Mio. €. Zugeordnet wird das 1973 gegründete Produktionsunternehmen der italienischen Tochter ebm-papst S.r.l in Mozzate bei Mailand.

Zum Kaufpreis wurde Stillschweigen vereinbart.
