eagleyard Photonics, a leading supplier of high-power laser diodes unveils two Broad Area Lasers at 670 nm, delivering 2 Watt peak power under pulse mode and 1.5 Watt under cw mode conditions

After the successful launch of the single frequency DBR laser at 633 nm in February 2013, yet another and more powerful laser family is entering the red zone. This complementing offer enables direct access to applications with a mandatory power need beyond 1 Watt.

The cw operated 1 Watt version built on a C-Mount is targeting applications where an optimized heat dissipation is essential.

The pulsed version comes in a hermetically sealed TO-package and is therefore perfectly suited for applications with extreme enviromental requirements.

Both lasers are available for immediate order.
