Frau Dr. Nebioglu, Senior R&D Managerin des Klebstoff-Teams, hat für die Dymax Corporation an der ‚International Conference on UV LED Technologies & Applications 2018‘ (ICULTA-2018) teilgenommen. In Berlin stellte Frau Dr. Nebioglu im Rahmen der „Semiconductors & Devices I“ Sitzung die technische Präsentation “UV Broad Spectrum & LED Curable 100% Solids Very Low Viscosity Conformal Coating“ („Breitbandspektrum & LED-Aushärtung bei niedrigviskosen Schutzbeschichtungen mit 100% Feststoffgehalt“) am Montag, den 23. April vor.

Dr. Neblioglu erläuterte die Entwicklung von UV/LED aushärtbaren Dünnschicht-Schutzlackierungen mit einer Viskosität von 20-30 cP und 100% Feststoffgehalt. Ihr Vortrag hob hervor, dass trotz niedriger Viskosität eine hohe Schutzwirkung gegenüber Umwelteinflüssen gewährleistet wird. Dies wurde anhand von Langzeit-Lebensdauer Tests wie Hitze- und Feuchtigkeitsbeständigkeit (500 Stunden bei 85°C / 85% relative Luftfeuchtigkeit) und Korrosionsbeständigkeit (Schadgasprüfung und Salzsprühnebel-Test) vorgestellt.
