5G Auktionserlöse für Glasfaseranbindung einsetzen!

Der DVTM Think-Tank begrüßt den Abschluss der Auktion der 5G Lizenzen.

Es ist jetzt notwendig, den Ausbau der Mobilfunknetze ohne weiteren Zeitverzug voranzutreiben. Dazu sollten die Erlöse der Versteigerung in Höhe von 6,6 Mrd. EUR forciert für die Anbindung der Antennenstandorte mit Glasfaser eingesetzt werden.

Zur Bewältigung dieser Herausforderung sollte eine Task-Force eingesetzt werden, um die praktischen, z.B. administrativen, Probleme unverzüglich zu lösen.

Der Deutsche Verband für Telekommunikation und Medien e.V. (DVTM) ist die zentrale Schnittstelle und unverzichtbarer Experte der an der Wertschöpfungskette Telekommunikation, Medien, Energie und "Bettertainment" beteiligten Unternehmen. Die circa 40 Mitglieder des Verbandes agieren freiwillig im Rahmen des Kodex Deutschland für Telekommunikation, Medien, Energie und "Bettertainment". Die von einem prominent besetzten Beirat begleitete Kodexkommission formuliert anerkannte Branchenstandards und befähigt dazu, den Markt aktiv mitzugestalten und stärkt damit das Prinzip der Selbstregulierung. Der DVTM ging aus dem bereits 1997 gegründeten Fachverband Freiwillige Selbstkontrolle Telefonmehrwertdienste (FST) hervor. Im Februar 2011 erfolgte die Umbenennung in DVTM.
