Eine DVBLink Server Installation auf ein kompatibles Gerät - NAS, Windows, Linux, Raspberry PI und jetzt also auch Mac OS - macht es so möglich, sowohl Live-TV als auch aufgenommene Sendungen im Heimnetz als auch unterwegs als Stream zu schauen. Dieser Stream kann auf kompatiblen Ausgabegeräten wie DLNA-Geräten, Kodi, iOS, Android und Web-Schnittstellen wiedergegeben werden. Folgende Tuner (Hardware) werden bei einer DVBLink Server Plattform unterstützt: den hauseigenen TVButler von DVBLogic, Receiver, die das Sat2IP Protokoll unterstützen (verfügbar im Markt als DVB-S, DVB-S2, DVB-C oder DVB-T) und HDHomeRun Netzwerk-Tuner.
Übrigens ist TVButler von DVBLogic die überaus einfache Möglichkeit für DVB-T, DVB-T2 und DVB-C Empfang, auch aus einem NAS-Laufwerk einen leistungsstarken TV-Server zu machen. Damit ist es möglich, lokale oder überregionale Sender zuhause im Heimnetzwerk und unterwegs im Urlaub oder Geschäftsreise auf Smartphone oder Tablet zu empfangen. Sowohl Live-TV als auch gespeicherte Aufnahmen stehen in originaler Digital-TV-Qualität zur Verfügung – wenn so angeboten. So hat man im Urlaub oder auf Geschäftsreise – sofern ein Internet-Zugang vorhanden ist - jederzeit Zugriff auf seine deutschsprachigen Lieblingsprogramme.
Eine zweite Sache an dieser Stelle: Es gibt auch Neues rund um den NAS-Hersteller ASUSTOR: Ab sofort werden folgende NAS-Modelle AS1002T und AS1004T aus der ARM-based Serie AS1 durch die DVBLogic-Produkte unterstützt.
