Ruggedized PoE-Switches

Die PoE-Switches der EKI-Serie von Advantech werden über das Ethernet-Kabel mit Energie versorgt: Eine Leitung für Ethernet und Energie genügt

Power over Ethernet (PoE) spart Arbeit und Geld: die Stromversorgung der mit PoE ausgerüsteten Module kommt über das Ethernet-Kabel. Advantech hat hier mehrere IEEE802.3af - kompatible Module aus der EKI-Serie im Programm.

Die besonderen Features der PoE-Module sind
  • Extreme Umwelttauglichkeit: die Geräte arbeiten im Temperatirbereich von -40 … +75°C
  • "Designed for Industry": auch unter rauhen Umgebungsbedingungen arbeiten die Geräte genau und zuverlässig
  • Ferndiagnose und -Wartung des Netzwerks über ein eigenes Advantech Management System
  • Energieversorgung mit 24VDC ist ausreichend.
  • Einige Module aus der EKI-Serie mit PoE-Anschluss:
  • EKI-7659CPI: 8+2-Port GBit Ethernet Managed Switch, redundant
  • EKI-2701PSI: PoE-Splitter
  • EKI-2525SPI-AE: 5-Port PoE Switches, mit zusätzlichen FiberPorts
Es gibt managed und unmanaged Switches, die auch über Glasfaser-Ports verfügen können. Die Metallgehäuse sind ausgesprochen robust und im industriellen Praxistest vielfach bewährt.

Anwendungsbereiche für die PoE-Switches sind zum Beispiel hoch-ausfallsichere Netzwerke, IP-Kameras in Sicherungsszenarien oder WLAN Access Points.
