Managementsystem-Zertifizierer expandiert in Südostasien: DQS Certification Philippines eröffnet

Die internationale Zertifizierungsgruppe DQS-UL hat mit ihrem jetzt auf den Philippinen eröffneten Büro ihre Präsenz in Südostasien erweitert. Vom Standort Makati City (Metropolregion Manila) wird die DQS Certification Philippines Inc. das Asia-/Pacific-Geschäft des Unternehmens verstärken. Hauptwachstumsbranchen auf den Philippinen sind vor allem die Telekommunikation, der Tourismus sowie der Dienstleistungssektor. Die Nachfrage nach Zertifizierungen von Managementsystemen fokussiert derzeit auf die weltweit anerkannten Normen für Qualitäts- und Umweltmanagement ISO 9001 und ISO 14001 sowie auf das automobilspezifische Regelwerk ISO/TS 16949. In der nach Indien zweitgrößten Outsourcing-Destination vor allem für Call Center und Business Processes werden zunehmend auch Zertifizierungen nach SA8000 nachgefragt, einem Standard für soziale Verantwortung von Unternehmen innerhalb der gesamten Produktions- und Zulieferkette gegenüber Mitarbeitern, Lieferanten, Kunden.
