Long awaited by skippers: the popular WAECO CoolMatic refrigerators can now also be used on smaller yachts. The successful family of premium refrigerators has got a new member, the ultra-compact CoolMatic CRP-40. Despite its small built-in dimensions, the newcomer provides a generous capacity of 39 litres, plus a spacious freezer compartment. Its cool stainless steel looks add an eye-catching touch to the onboard interior. Matching installation frames make for an aesthetically pleasing finish.
The youngest offspring of the CoolMatic family features the same equipment details as the larger fridges in the range. It comes with a fully hermetic Danfoss BD35F compressor with integrated control electronics, low-voltage and reverse pole protection, variable door hinges (left/right), a double door lock for extra safety as well as a continuously adjustable thermostat.
Designed for 12- or 24-volt operation, the
CRP-40 consumes an average of 40 watts. The small compressor fridge works highly efficient and makes economic use of the onboard energy sources. It can be run either from the standard onboard power supplies, from a solar cell, or from 110 to 240 volts AC using the mains adapter available as optional extra. Accessories also include a standard and a flush-mount installation frame.
The compact luxury compressor fridge is
e-certified.
