It is designed to act as a direct interface between either RGB, DVI, Q-HDMI (or optionally DisplayPort DP) and LCD TFT displays, from VGA up to Full-HD / WUXGA. This new LCD controller is based on the ST –Microelectronic scaler technology device STDP53xx (optional STDP60xx) including Faroudja RealColor® color processing, ultra-reliable DVI® receiver (165 MHz) and Triple-channel (10bit) ADC (205 MHz) and PLL.

A highly efficient power-management structure, as well as an optional ultra slim architecture makes the d.scale-HD the perfect solution for ultra-low power, multifunctional monitors.

All members of the device LCD controller family are designed for industrial use to meet the specific requirements of embedded applications, including the critical long term availability aspect, often not found in consumer or Far Eastern products.
