Dimetis’ hallmark experience in systems integration spans 25 years, from TV studios and large DVB multiplex/play-out centers to nationwide next generation IP/MPLS media and IPTV networks.
On display will be the Dimetis BOSS (Broadcast Operations Support System) product line, a family of software modules that unifies management of different video and telecom standards, dissimilar equipment and incompatible element/network control systems. Operating under a common interface and single platform, the Dimetis BOSS elegantly manages and transports high bandwidth video and media, with QoS, in an on-demand fashion across any facility and/or wide area network.
A new software release for the Dimetis BOSS STREAM Recorder will be showcased, allowing comprehensive TR101 ETR 290 analysis capabilties, including video "black frame“, “freeze” and audio loss detection. These types of features are ideal for network-wide QoS assurance through remote DVB/IPTV transport stream monitoring, analysis, and archival.
In addition, several applications will be highlighted by the Dimetis System Integration Group demonstrating the unique solution portfolio from partners Cisco, DecTek and Bridgetech.
Pronounced Joe Kniesel, CEO, “These are exciting times, as the demand to design, manage and transport real-time video/media services across often-disjointed facilities and networks continues its dramatic increase. Dimetis adds value by unifying operational management across these complex environments with our Dimetis BOSS platform, as well as through our comprehensive system design / integration services and partner products. Such capabilities uniquely position us in the marketplace, saving our customers valuable time and money while enhancing performance.“
