DILAS' Fiber-Coupled Diode Laser Bar Enables Unpolarized Output

DILAS, the diode laser company, announces today the launch of its high-power fiber-coupled module that enables "truly" unpolarized optical output beam.

Within the fiber-coupled module architecture, DILAS uses a polarization scrambler to achieve random polarization. With a degree of polarization at <0.1, this product is ideal for a wide array of OEM pumping applications, primarily diode-pumped solid-state laser manufactures demanding increased stability for their next generation products. Thus, manufacturers achieve desirable advantages by increasing their stability, therefore leading to robust and cost-effective system designs.
