Die Digital Devices GmbH, ein führender Anbieter von DVB Produkten, stellt Cine C2T2 I vor – eine PCIe Karte mit 2 Tunern. Das Board ist für professionelle Anbieter klei-nerer TV Empfangs Lösungen konzipiert und eignet sich für den Aufbau eines Media / Entertain-ment Centers.

Mit der neuen Einsteckkarte kann gleichzeitig eine Sendung gesehen werden, während die andere aufgenommen wird. Ganz gleich ob Live TV oder Timeshift: die Tuner (2 x DVB-C/C2 (Kabel) oder 2 x DVB-T/T2 (terrestrisch) und jetzt ISDB-T bieten höchsten Komfort sowie eine hohe Empfangsqua-lität (z.B. 1080p bei HDTV Empfang).

Digital Devices bietet die Möglichkeit das System modular bis auf maximal 8 Tuner aufzurüsten. Es sind 3 weitere Dual DVB-S2 und/oder DVB-C/T (Kabel/Terrestrisch) Karten oder Common Inter-faces in allen Kombinationsmöglichkeiten anschließbar. Geeignete Racks und Backplanes hat Digital Devices ebenfalls im Programm.

Das Board ist (zur Kommunikation mit Erweiterungsmodulen ) mit dem neuen differentiellen Über-tragungsverfahren (LVDS) ausgestattet. Dieses leistet bis > 400% mehr Datendurchsatz (UltraHD). Es ist abwärtskompatibel zum klassischen Übertragungsverfahren mit 80 Mbit. Unterstützt werden viele TV-Applikationen wie beispielsweise Microsoft Windows® Media Center 7/8, DVBViewer, Media Portal, Gen2VDR sowie MythTV.
