Enso Detego GmbH, a leading provider of RFID products and solutions to the Fashion and Food & Beverage Industry, today launched Store Guard+, a new RFID electronic article surveillance (EAS) solution with best-in-class theft detection performance for fashion retail stores. The hardware-independent system is controlled by Enso Detego's unique item detection algorithm and consists of a set of RFID antennas and a camera kit.
Enso Detego deploys RFID detection technology assisted by computer vision to offer retail stores a reliable, state-of-the-art alternative to conventional theft surveillance systems. When a person with unpaid RFID-labeled fashion item passes a designated line at the store exit, the Store Guard+ system distinguishes these items from other items in the vicinity and triggers alarm only when a relevant event occurs.
