ASP CONNECTS:

Budapest in Hungary with Osnabrück in Germany

(PresseBox) (Kiel, )
Since 2008, our customer and partner in Osnabrück of many years’ standing, OPG Parking GmbH, has been exploiting the advantages of ASP and operating more than 60 car parks over the internet. And it has been so successful, that OPG is now tackling a new ASP project: TóPARK. This is a major city development project on the outskirts of the Hungarian capital, Budapest. Office blocks, apartments, Europe’s largest indoor shopping mall, a recreation and rehabilitation centre, outdoor and indoor sports complexes, an exhibition space and an education and events centre will all be built in several phases over the next 13 years.

Initially during the first construction phase 150 apartments and a 92,000 m2 office complex plus adjoining parking garage with 236 parking spaces and a further 512 outdoor spaces will be built. OPG Parking GmbH expects to commission these parking areas in the autumn. DESIGNA was chosen to supply the hardware and software for this protracted project with good reason. The company was the only supplier in the sector to satisfy the customer’s requirements in terms of unlimited system scalability, flexibility and cost-effectiveness and was thus able to win through against the competition.

“We are very pleased to be able to exhibit the entire technological know-how of our group of companies in this construction project. This project also gives us the opportunity to successfully continue our partnership with DESIGNA. OPG Parking has played a significant part in shaping many of DESIGNA’s developments over the past 15 years. In this challenging project too, customer-specific requirements were met in an exemplary manner,” OPG Parking GmbH’s Managing Directors, Karl-Heinz Ellinghaus and Ingo Hoppe told us.

The TóPARK project shows great promise in all respects and has already won awards. TóPARK was recently chosen as “European Champion” in the real estate section of the CNBC Arabia International Property Awards.
