In practical terms, the new model offers twice the functionality of the previous BHT-8000 unit. The new BHT-900 is twice as fast, twice as resistant to drop damage, has double the data storage capacity and - at fully 200 hours - even offers more than three times as much battery life! DENSO Barcode Handheld Terminals are well known for their powerful performance and excellent investment protection. But the new BHT-900 sets the bar even higher. With a reading speed of 200 to 400 scans per second, it offers phenomenal speed with top quality scanning accuracy. Thanks to its CCD (charged coupled device) technology, the BHT-900 proves far more reliable in reading poor quality barcodes (e.g. dirty or creased) when compared to laser technology.

Data storage capacity has also doubled. This enables the unit to handle even very large data volumes - for example, full inventory lists. In the event of operating system software updates, all applications are saved and do not need to be reinstalled, providing excellent investment security. Multi-communication functionality is another plus point of the BHT-900. For maximum flexibility, users are free to choose between Bluetooth 2.1 + DER, IrDA 1.2 and USB 2.0. The same versatility principle even applies to recharging, where the BHT-900 can either be recharged via a dedicated charge-point or directly via the USB connection.
