BHT-900. Simply twice as good!
DENSO Barcode Handheld Terminals are well known for their powerful performance and excellent investment protection. But the new BHT-900 sets the bar even higher. With a reading speed of 200 to 400 scans per second, it offers phenomenal speed with top quality scanning accuracy. Thanks to its CCD (charged coupled device) technology, the BHT-900 proves far more reliable in reading poor quality barcodes (e.g. dirty or creased) when compared to laser technology.
Data storage capacity has also doubled. This enables the unit to handle even very large data volumes - for example, full inventory lists. A key feature for deployment within industrial or other heavy-use environments is the device's robustness; an area in which the new BHT-900 sets new standards. Instead of the usual 'drop test' standard of 30 falls, the new unit can resist 60 falls from a height of 1.2 meters, making it one of the toughest models on the market. And with a network-independent operating life of 200 hours, it offers users a previously unachievable level of flexibility.
As far as security is concerned, the new BHT-900 is one of the most reliable units on the market. It supports the BHT-OS operating system, which was specially developed for mobile data capture and is known as one of the most stable and secure platforms available for industrial applications. Units powered by the BHT-OS system boot-up extremely fast and offer maximum speed and stability, even when used with web-browser applications. The BHT-OS system works exclusively with Flash storage. In the event of operating system software updates, all applications are saved and do not need to be reinstalled, providing excellent investment security. Multi-communication functionality is another plus point of the BHT-900. For maximum flexibility, users are free to choose between Bluetooth 2.1 + DER, IrDA 1.2 and USB 2.0. The same versatility principle even applies to recharging, where the BHT-900 can either be recharged via a dedicated charge-point or directly via the USB connection.
Conclusion: The new DENSO BHT-900 succeeds in combining a wide range of class-leading features and outstanding functionality at a very attractive price point.
