for large-scale PV installations, at North America’s largest solar conference and expo in
North America.
Delta is presenting its advanced lineup of central and residential grid-tied solar inverters, with a power output from 2.5 kW up to 250 kW, at Solar Power International 2011 in Dallas, TX from October 18-20. Its centerpiece is the new SOLIVIA CL 200.
With 195 kW power output, the SOLIVIA CL 200 central inverter provides the ideal solution for large-scale PV plants. It is compatible with all types of solar modules and supports negative or optional positive PV grounding. The central inverter is equipped with an integrated low voltage transformer and features a maximum efficiency of 97.5%. Internal liquid cooling and air cooling contribute to a higher efficiency of the inverter even at higher operating temperatures. The UL-certified inverter comes with versatile communication options including wireless, WiFi, cellular options, Modbus TCP IP interface, and optional SCADA DNP3 interface.
Among the wide range of SOLIVIA solar inverters being showcased at SPI are the CL 250, with 250 kW output power, maximum efficiency of 98% and a flexible system design up to 1 MW, and the grid-tied SOLIVIA string inverters for residential and commercial installations. These inverters have an output power ranging from 2.5 kW to 5.0 kW, with a flexible design for indoor and outdoor installations.
According to Andreas Schmidt, Head of Marketing: "This launch of SOLIVIA CL 200 marks an important milestone in the development of Delta's solar inverter products. With internal liquid cooling and air cooling this central inverter stands out with lower operating costs and greater reliability. We're looking forward to sharing this exciting technology with SPI visitors."
