Delta Energy Systems (Germany) GmbH now offers their customers two possibilities to monitor their PV installations. Up to now only the monitoring solution product line Safer´Sun from Meteocontrol was applicable for the SOLIVIA Solar Inverters from Delta. Due to the high demand of customers for the Solar-LogTM products, Delta decided to provide the customers two options. Now the PV installation can be supervised as well with the Solar-LogTM product line from Solare Datensysteme GmbH.
All European String and Central Inverter models from Delta are compatible with the new monitoring solution, offering three different products – the Solar-Log200, Solar-Log500 and Solar-Log1000. The three monitoring systems differ in the number of inverters they are able to support and in the way of operation. The Solar-Log200 supports one inverter, the Solar-Log500 supports up to ten inverters and the Solar-Log1000 supports up to 100 inverters. All models can be operated via the web browser in the network, the Solar-Log500 as well as the Solar-Log1000 can be operated via the monitoring product display.
The monitoring solutions offer many advantages as they inform the operator on energy harvest as well as send alert messages in case of a breakdown of the installation. Daily monitoring ensures functional reliability of the PV installation. Graphic and tabular analyses can be run for daily, monthly or annual reports. The Solar-LogTM products can be purchased directly from Solare Datensysteme GmbH, the Safer´Sun products from Meteocontrol can still be purchased from Delta.
