Delta acquires the SOLON Inverters AG, a Subsidiary of SOLON SE, Berlin

The acquisition contributes to Delta’s growth strategy in the business area of solar inverters and expands R&D capacities for high efficiency Solar Inverters.

Delta Energy Systems (Germany) GmbH in Teningen, Germany receives 100 percent of the shares of the SOLON Inverters AG from Uznach in Switzerland. Due to the acquisition Delta is able to expand its R&D team for solar inverters. The takeover supports Delta’s strategy to extend the successful SOLIVIA Solar Inverter product range consistently with further innovative products in the future. The acquired company will be organizationally integrated into the R&D center of excellence for solar inverters of Delta Energy Systems (Germany) GmbH in Teningen, Germany.

The SOLON Inverters AG develops, manufactures and markets sinus inverters for off-grid systems. In 1992, the company was founded under the name asp AG and since January 2000 SOLON Inverters has been part of the SOLON Group.

With the SOLON Inverters AG acquisition we get a great team of knowledgeable employees with a wide experience in the development of solar inverters. We strongly welcome the new team" comments Andreas Hoischen, Head of the Business Unit IMS, Delta Energy Systems (Germany) GmbH.

The SOLON Inverters AG will be designated as Delta Renewable Energy Systems (Switzerland) AG in the future.
