Delta Energy Systems presents its latest developments within the SOLIVIA Solar Inverter Line at Solar Power International

(PresseBox) (Teningen, )
Delta Energy Systems (Germany) GmbH, a subsidiary of the multinational Delta Group, the world’s largest provider of switching power supplies, launches a new central inverter line for North America, further expanding their reach into new photovoltaic markets. The German-designed solar inverter product line will offer customers PV solutions that include central inverters with up to 1 MW power output, 4 new grid-tie string inverters ranging from 2.5 kW to 5.0 kW, and a 250 W micro inverter. In addition, Delta presents a new PV system monitoring solution providing the owner a real-time overview of the system performance. DelSolar Co. Ltd., another subsidiary of Delta Group and a leading solar cell and module provider, will also attend Solar Power International to present their latest products.

Please visit Delta Energy Systems at Solar Power International in Los Angeles, CA, Oct. 12-14, 2010, at booth #1609, to learn more about solar inverters. Please visit DelSolar Co. Ltd. at booth #4161 to learn more about their solar cells and modules.

• SOLIVIA CL 250: A 250 kW, 850 V, IEC-version central inverter - developed in cooperation with LTi in Germany - offers high efficiency as well as high reliability for utility-scale PV installations. In Q2 2011, a UL-version, called SOLIVIA CL 200, with an output power of 195 kW and a maximum input voltage of 600 V will be launched for large commercial and utility installations. Both inverter products will feature a hybrid cooling technology as they are liquid and air cooled. This enables more flexibility regarding the system design and allows the units to operate at higher temperatures in comparison to air-cooled only units.

• SOLIVIA String Inverters: Four new grid-connected models – SOLIVIA 2.5, 3.3, 4.4 and 5.0 NA G4 – with a nominal output power ranging from 2.5 to 5.0 kW complement the already available European solar inverter product line from Delta. The inverters operate within a wide temperature range, up to 122 °F (50 °C) with full power output ensuring high yields even for installations in warmer climates. High efficiency and intelligent MPP tracking maximize energy harvesting from solar modules under all operating conditions. The SOLIVIA solar inverters feature a NEMA 4 rated enclosure for dust-tight operation and incorporate an integrated lockable DC disconnect. All relevant status messages and stored data can be recalled either via the integrated display, on the desktop and remotely via the SOLIVIA monitoring system.

• SOLIVIA Monitoring System: Delta offers a turnkey monitoring system that includes a gateway, the database service, and software to allow multiple PV sites to be monitored via the web or on your desktop. The monitoring system gathers data from various sources, stores the data securely online, and presents it with easy to read graphs and reports for detailed analysis of performance. The software allows customization of users reports, alerts can be generated, and software can be integrated with back office function.

• SOLIVIA Micro Inverter: The micro inverter is easily installed directly within a solar module frame and offers per-module Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT), leading to greater efficiency and greater energy harvest from the complete solar array. The micro inverter offers easy installation and easy monitoring of each individual solar module in your solar array which helps increase the return on your solar investment.
