Australian Premiere for the SOLIVIA Solar Inverters at All-Energy Australia 2010

Delta Energy Systems (Germany) GmbH presented the SOLIVIA Solar Inverters developed for the Asian Pacific market at the All-Energy Australia Exhibition and Conference in Melbourne

(PresseBox) (Teningen, )
On 6th and 7th of October a huge number of trade show visitors were interested in learning more about the wide product range from Delta. Four new grid-connected models - SOLIVIA 2.5, 3.0, 3.3 and 5.0 AP G3 - with a nominal output power ranging from 2.5 to 5.0 kW were presented for the first time to the Australian public. The integrated multi-country software enables an easy configuration of the SOLIVIA solar inverters for a specified country with a few clicks via the integrated display. The Asia-Pacific string inverters from Delta offer an efficiency of up to 96 % due to the high frequency transformer technology. The inverters can be used with all common photovoltaic module types, even with rear-side contact modules and thin-film modules that require positive or negative DC grounding. With the optional grounding kit from Delta, the models are qualified for these applications. The inverters possess intelligent MPP tracking and extract maximum performance from the solar cells under all operating conditions.

The solar inverters operate within a wide temperature range and are therefore especially qualified for operation in warmer climates. The housing has a compact design and the inverters can be mounted in indoors as well as in protected outdoor areas, since the IP65 casing is dust-tight, completely safe to touch (shock proof) and protects the unit from jet water from any direction. Mounting is performed easily even for the non-commercial user due to the supplied mounting plate and wall bracket. The solar inverters are fitted with overvoltage protection, heat protection, short-circuit protection and overcurrent protection.

The largest solar event in Australia attracted 3,000 visitors from more than 20 countries. Head of Marketing, Andreas Schmidt, commented: "the All-Energy exhibition exceeded all our expectations, we got in touch with important distributors in Australia and are convinced that the SOLIVIA Solar Inverters exactly meet the requirements of the Australian market."
