IHK Committee for Industry, Research and Innovation Meets at DATRON

On May 28th 2015 DATRON AG hosted a meeting of IHK Darmstadt's committee for industry, research and innovation. Its main topics were location marketing for the engineering region, Industry 4.0, Open Innovation and networking for research and development projects. The committee is a subgroup of IHK Darmstadt providing dialogue between researchers, politicians and innovative companies in the Rhine-Main area. Offering educational courses, dialogue formats and regular committee meetings at company compounds, it aims to further the regional cooperation and technology transfer.

Matthias Reck, CTO at DATRON AG, explains: "DATRON highly appreciates the cooperation with IHK. Their effort is a big help for local companies." IHK's work made the Darmstadt-Dieburg as well as the Rhine-Main region more attractive to customers, business partners and highly qualified workers, he adds. Furthermore, it made acquiring funds and networking with national and international industry significantly easier.
