Die Software zum Datenaustausch ist somit nun in der Lage, Dateiformate von Pro/ENGINEER 2000i bis zu Creo 4.0 einzulesen und in viele verschiedene 2D- und 3D-Formate zu konvertieren.

Die Unterstützung neuer Versionen ist ein wichtiger Bestandteil der Arbeit der Datakit-Entwickler. Dazu gehört auch die ständige Verbesserung der Qualität der Konverter und die Implementierung neuer, aktueller Datentypen.

Ebenfalls NEU - Export-Plug-In für Rhinoceros: SolidWorks

Jetzt kann man auch aus Rhinoceros heraus Daten direkt in den Formaten .sldprt und .sldasm speichern und somit direkt in SolidWorks verwenden.

Hierfür ist es nicht zwingend notwendig, SolidWorks selbst zu installieren.

Dieses Add-on ist perfekt für Rhino-Anwender, welche ihre Modelle mit Nutzern von SolidWorks austauschen möchten. Der Austausch ist in beide Richtungen möglich, da man mit Rhinoceros von Haus aus SolidWorks-Daten importieren kann.

Die neuen Formate finden Einzug in die verschiedenen Werkzeuge der CrossCad Reihe wie z.B. dem CrossManager oder den CrossCAD-Plugins.
