In Form einer Patenschaft soll das Homburger Ronald McDonald Haus zukünftig Unterstützung finden. Dabei reicht das Engagement von Geldspenden über Sachspenden bis hin zu Zeitspenden und Besuchen vor Ort. «Als Unternehmen sind wir uns unserer sozialen Verantwortung bewusst. Uns hat das Konzept des Ronald McDonald Hauses sofort begeistert und wir möchten unbedingt unseren Beitrag zum Erfolg der Einrichtung leisten», erklärt Kai Madsack, Personalleiter der Data One. «Engagierte Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter sollen dabei auch eigene Ideen einbringen, die dann tatkräftig gemeinsam verwirklicht werden.» bekräftigt Kerstin Steffen, Unternehmenssprecherin der Data One, das Vorhaben des Saarbrücker IT-Unternehmens. Tanja Meiser, Leiterin des Ronald McDonald Hauses in Homburg freut sich über das Engagement. «Diese Hilfe und Unterstützung ist sehr wichtig für uns und dass diese bei den Familien ankommt, erleben wir tagtäglich hautnah. Wir schaffen so ein Zuhause auf Zeit, die Familien können hier Kraft tanken und das hilft natürlich den Eltern, das Kind in der Therapie zu begleiten».
