Despite increasing networking, paper print-outs are remaining unavoidable even today. The process that began with the mobile workplace has now also been transferred to the back-office. More and more workplaces in logistics and production are becoming mobile. Whereas PCs were mainly used before, now they have been supplemented by mobile devices like handhelds or smartphones. Modern process methods like pick-by-voice and mobile workplaces are supporting this trend. Contrary to laser and ink-jet printers in offices, a lot is required of the printers used here - high humidity, large temperature fluctuations as well as dust and dirt place extreme demands on these devices. Here the dot matrix printers of DASCOM are in their element.
Due to the long-term experience in these segments these special demands are taken into account in the development of the printers. Robustness, reliability and easy operation are not just paid lip-service at DASCOM, but are the measure by which solutions are measured. Further benefits of this technology: In addition to the capability of simultaneously stocking different types of paper such as continuous paper and individual sheets, environmental awareness is also very distinct here. No fine dust emissions, low power consumption and a long-life print ribbon cartridge ensure a low CO2 footprint.
