Geipel und Becker-Brugger wieder auf Treppchenjagt

Nach dem dritten Platz im vergangenen Jahr greifen Philip Geipel und Co-Pilotin Katrin Becker-Brugger erneut in der Deutschen Rallye Meisterschaft (DRM) an

Nachdem sich 2020 die Räder langsamer oder auch teilweise gar nicht drehten, freuen sich die beiden Piloten umso mehr auf eine höchst spannende Saison 2021. „Ich bin glücklich, dass ich in dieser schweren Zeit zusammen mit meinen Partnern erneut ein tolles Paket auf die Beine stellen konnte. Es ist schön, wieder dabei zu sein“, so Geipel in einer seiner letzten Mitteilungen.

Auch dieses Jahr vertrauen die beiden auf den auffälligen blau-gelben Skoda Fabia R5 von Speedlife Motorsport. „Das Ziel ist es, erneut für eine Überraschung zu sorgen. Die diesjährigen Rennen werden hart umkämpft sein, da ist kein Platz für Fehler, es muss alles zu 100 Prozent passen. Mit Katrin und Speedlife haben wir beste Vorrausetzungen für eine erfolgreiche Saison“, freut sich der ehemalige ADAC GT Masters Fahrer.

Der DRM-Auftakt startet am 7. Und 8. Mai 2021 bei der 33. ADAC Actronics Rallye Sulingen. Aktuell sind weitere 5 Veranstaltungen zugesagt worden.
