Agile is a journey, not a destination. Critical Manufacturing sponsors Agile Portugal 2016

Agile Portugal gathers practitioners and leading experts from the Agile and Scrum community to exchange experiences about agile development approaches

(PresseBox) (Porto, )
Agile Portugal is the premier international conference in Portugal about agile software development and its practices, technologies, attitudes and experiences.

Created with both experts and beginners in mind, it is the place where the Portuguese agile community comes together to exchange and share experiences about agile development approaches.

The event is a two-day international conference that gathers practitioners from the Agile and Scrum community and invited international leading experts.

Critical Manufacturing believes that the best requirements, design and architecture emerge from self-organizing teams. This is why we are advocates of Agile methods. We have promoted the internal usage of Agile methodologies since our foundation in 2009 and have attended the event since 2010, being an official sponsor for the fourth time this year.

In the conference agenda you can find many interesting talks and workshops: “Coding Dojo Challenge – SOLID design principles”, “Learning from product failure to achieve new product success!”, “Selling The ‘Fluffy’ Side Of Agile”, just to name a few.

João Brandão, a Scrum Master in the Product Development Area at Critical Manufacturing, will have his five minutes (well, thirty, to be exact) at the conference and will try to convince you that Agile is more of a journey, than a destination.

“(2.5 million lines of code + 51.000 man hours ) * Complexity = AGILE
This is the story of how we’ve managed to successfully Plan and Deliver highly complex MES software solution through Agile having fun along the way.Ours might not be the best way; it simply works for us. It may work for you too!“
