CoreTigo Announces the Appointment of Mr. Ralf-Michael Franke as Board Member

Former CEO of Siemens Industrial Automation and Factory Automation Business Units Joins CoreTigo’s Board of Directors to Further Drive Industrial Wireless Mission Critical Solutions

CoreTigo, a provider of industrial wireless mission critical connectivity solutions, is announcing the appointment of a new member to the company’s board of directors, effective August 05th, 2020. Joining the board is Mr. Ralf-Michael Franke, a senior executive and expert in the industrial space, and former CEO of Siemens Industrial Automation Systems and Factory Automation business units.

Mr. Franke joined Siemens in 1985. In 1998, he took over as Head of Quality Assurance, and in 2000 took charge of coordinating the inter-divisional development of the new SINAMICS drives platform. From 2003 onwards, he managed the top+ company program Innovation in Munich. In 2004, he became CEO of the Siemens Industrial Automation Systems Business Unit. In April 2011, he took over leadership of the Drive Technologies division. As of October 2014, Mr. Ralf-Michael Franke served as the CEO of the Factory Automation Business Unit. The Business Unit Factory Automation offers a range of end-to-end automation products and systems for all sectors of the manufacturing industry.
