Industrial lines for customers in the Asian region - like compressor manufacturer Atlas Copco, construction machinery manufacturer Atlas Terex, and premium forklift manufacturer Linde - are made locally by ContiTech at its ContiTech Fluid Grand Ocean plant in Changchun, China, which thus helps ContiTech's partners to meet the minimum 40 percent local content requirement stipulated by the Chinese government without having to tolerate compromises in terms of quality and service. With the implementation of European standards, ContiTech has made first-class quality a top priority in China right from the start. Other benefits - also for ContiTech's customers
- are gained through optimized purchasing processes via a central purchasing office in China as well as cooperation with the other ContiTech locations throughout the world. This means that the plants in China do not act as single players, but are integrated into the valuable community expertise of ContiTech's worldwide operations.
ContiTech Fluid Technology develops complex hose line systems with individual design options. Pipe lines, hydraulic hose lines for all pressure levels, fuel and oil lines, pipe fittings and suction hoses, as well as customized molded heating and cooling hoses, including reliable and convenient joining components, are all included in ContiTech's wide range of products. Customer-specific solutions for complicated installation situations are one of ContiTech's core areas of competence. The hose line manufacturer's hydraulics competence covers the full gamut, from special applications through to complete service - including installation. The hoses and fittings are designed to cope with tricky installation in tight spaces and meet the most exacting performance requirements in terms of dependability and resistance to aging. Manufacturers like ContiTech who assemble their hose lines on their own equipment are able to influence quality right through to the final product. Working in close partnership with its customers, ContiTech is now developing the appropriate performance-oriented and eco-friendly concepts to fulfil the logistical tasks of the future.
