ContiTech Know-How Boosts Efficiency of Wind Energy Plants

Husum WindEnergy 2010 - The Hanover-based company presents customized vibration control technology at booth C02 in hall 2 - Lecture on the topic of "Measuring and simulating using the example of a wind energy plant"

ContiTech Vibration Control GmbH is presenting its knowhow for the wind energy sector at the Husum WindEnergy (September 21 to 25, 2010, hall 2, booth C02). The focus is on product solutions for wind energy plants and their computational construction with the help of computer programs and simulations.

ContiTech Vibration Control has decades of experience with controlled process manufacture of suspension components for industrial applications and offers customized vibration control technology from one source. The company produces stateoftheart bearing systems for wind energy plants employing rubber, a material with high promise for the future. In this way ContiTech will have a major say in seeing to it that wind turbines perform more costefficiently and effectively and thus also in an ecofriendly way. With rubbertometal bonded products of the traditional SCHWINGMETALL® and MEGI® brands as well as needsbased product solutions for gearbox mounts and generator suspension of wind energy plants as well as other applications, ContiTech offers manufacturers and operators a comprehensive product range and high availability.

ContiTech is also providing an indepth lecture during the trade fair: Dr. Hans-Jürgen Karkosch, Advanced Development Manager at ContiTech Vibration Control, will give a lecture in German on the topic of "Measuring and simulating using the example of a wind energy plant" at 11:00 a.m. on September 24, 2010, in room 3 of the Congress Center of the Husum WindEnergy.
