Die Kölner CM-AG konnte den eco-Award während einer offiziellen Verleihungszeremonie auf der CeBIT aus den Händen von Ulrich Hoffmann, Manager Hosting Solutions im Geschäftsbereich Mittelstand bei SAP, entgegen nehmen.
Das eco-Forum (eco Electronic Commerce Forum e.V.) ist der Spitzenverband der Internetwirtschaft in Deutschland. Der jährlich ausgeschriebene eco-Award wurde von einer unabhängigen Jury vergeben, die sich aus Spitzenkräften der IT-Industrie (Siemens, SAP, Microsoft), IT-Verbänden, der Presse sowie staatlichen Institutionen und universitären Einrichtungen zusammensetzt.
CM4all WebsiteCreator beeindruckte die Jury - neben der höchsten Nutzerzahl der eingereichten Bewerbungen - vor allem durch die Praktikabilität und den hohen Durchdringungsgrad in den Zielmärkten. Neben Süd- und Mittel-Europa wird die Software seit vergangenen Jahr auch in den USA angeboten. Vermarktet wird der CM4all WebsiteCreator über OEM-Kunden der CM-AG, dies sind namhafte Hosting- und Internetprovider in Europa und den USA, in Deutschland z.B. die 1&1 Internet AG und T-Online.
Mit dem CM4all WebsiteCreator, der online im Browser aufgerufen wird, können Anwender einen professionellen Internetauftritt erstellen und pflegen. Neben zahlreichen Design-Vorlagen und einem WYSIWYG-Editor zur Bearbeitung der Online-Inhalte sind weitere nutzbringende Extras wie z.B. Flash-Intro, Fotoalbum, Gästebuch, Newsticker, Forum, Online- Umfragen, Lage- und Routenplaner und neuerdings sogar ein Online-Shop ebenfalls im Leistungsumfang enthalten.
